The Mamo Personal app will be shutting down on the 31st of August, 2023

After careful consideration, we have taken the difficult but necessary decision to shut down the Mamo Personal app. 😒

It’s important to note that this decision does not impact Mamo Business. As a matter of fact, Mamo Business will become our core product going forward! πŸš€

Effective August 31, 2023, the Mamo Personal app will no longer be available for use. We understand that this news may come as a disappointment, and we genuinely appreciate the trust and support you have shown us throughout your journey with the Mamo Personal app.

All customers have received an email notice, to inform them of the following measures we have put in place:

  • Removal of withdrawal fees: On July 31, 2023, withdrawal fees will be removed. You will be able to withdraw your full balance at no cost. This will allow you to access your funds easily and conveniently.

  • Paying bills: This will no longer available effective immediately.

  • Disabling some features: Effective July 31, 2023, you will no longer be able to top up your wallet balance, send money using your card, or use your Mamo Link. You can continue to send money from your existing balance, or withdraw to your bank account.

  • App removal from stores: While the app will no longer be available for download from the app stores starting from July 31, 2023, and new users won't be able to sign up, we want to reassure you that your existing Mamo Personal app will continue to be accessible for a period of one month, until August 31, 2023. This extended time will give you ample opportunity to clear your remaining balances and complete any pending transactions.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We understand that managing your finances is a crucial aspect of your daily life, and we encourage you to take the necessary steps to ensure a seamless transition to an alternative solution of your choice.
