Migrate from Stripe

Learn how to move your customers' stored cards to Mamo

Updated over a week ago

Merchants looking to migrate their customers’ stored cards from their Stripe to their Mamo accounts can follow the steps below to ensure a smooth migration.

Steps on Stripe

In order to proceed with your migration request, Stripe asks you to provide them with some details about Mamo, this includes the below:

  • PGP Key: a publicly hosted key that will be used to encrypt the migrated data.

  • AoC: Proof of the new provider's PCI Service Provider Level 1 certification.

Mamo will provide you with the Key and AoC, just request it by asking us via chat using the chat bubble on the bottom of the screen, or by sending an email to [email protected].

Once everything is submitted, Stripe should get back to you within 10 business day with the exported data, depending on your record account and their availability.

Steps with Mamo

Once the export file is received from Stripe, forward it to Mamo on [email protected].

You also need to share a spreadsheet using the template below, that contains the following details for every customer:

  • The customer's email address.

  • Whether the card details are for one off payments.

For Subscriptions

When you're migrating your subscriptions from Stripe, please share a spreadsheet using the template below with the exported data, that contains the following details for every subscription:

  • The start date

  • The frequency

  • The amount

  • The currency

Upon submission, all the card and customer details will be imported to your Mamo account.
