Updating your business documents

Keep your account active with valid updated documents

Mamo may ask you to update your documents in two situations:

  • Document expiry: official documents such as a trade license, ID, or proof of address have a limited validity period. As part of our ongoing KYB process, we'll ask you to re-submit them when they are approaching or have passed their expiry date.

  • Periodic compliance review: our compliance team may request updated or additional documents as part of a routine review, even if your current documents have not yet expired.

In both cases, the steps to update your documents are the same.

If a document is expiring

You'll receive a reminder email around 30 days before the expiry date and a banner will appear at the top of your Mamo Dashboard.

Click on Update in the banner, and follow the steps to submit your renewed documents.

We offer an additional 30-day grace period after your documents have expired to allow for renewal. Please ensure to update the requested documents before the end of this grace period.

You will still have access to all features during the grace period, including receiving payments, making payouts, and card top-ups.

If a compliance review has been initiated

You'll receive an email notification and a banner will appear on your Mamo Dashboard directing you to the documents that need to be updated.

Click on Update in the banner, and follow the steps to submit your renewed documents.

Note that prolonged absence of valid documentation may lead to limitations being imposed on your account, including losing access to all Mamo’s services.
