You can now connect your AI assistant directly to your Mamo account. Once it's connected, you can ask it about your business, your balances, your payment links, how much you collected last month — and even create new payment links, just by describing what you want in plain English.
This works through the Mamo MCP server. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI tools connect securely to other apps.
What you can ask for
Once you're connected, you can ask things like:
"What's my Mamo wallet balance?"
"How much did we collect in July compared to June?"
"Which of my payment links haven't taken a payment in the last 60 days?"
"Create an AED 1,200 payment link for the September retainer and email the customer a receipt."
"Give me every payment from last month as a table I can paste into a spreadsheet."
Your assistant reads your Mamo data and answers you in the chat. That makes it handy for the kind of digging around that's awkward in the dashboard; comparing one month against another, filtering on your own criteria, or pulling numbers straight into a report you're already writing.
What your assistant can access
Right now, the Mamo MCP server covers:
Your business details: your business name, tag and website
Your balances: Payments account, card account and cashback account
Your payment links: list them all, or look up details of a single one
Your payments: access details of all of your received payments
Creating payment links: new links, with the same options you'd normally set in the dashboard
Which AI tools can I use?

MCP is an open standard, so most other AI tools that support it can connect too — you just point them at the Mamo server address. The setup guides cover how.
Is it secure?
A few things worth knowing:
You never share your API key. Connecting an AI tool works through a sign-in, not a key. Your API key stays where it is.
You approve the access yourself. When you connect a tool, your browser opens Mamo's sign-in page and shows you exactly what it's asking to see. Nothing happens until you select Allow.
Adding the server doesn't grant anything on its own. If you close that sign-in screen without approving, your AI tool gets nothing.
How do I get set up?

You don't need to be a developer to follow the Claude or ChatGPT guides — both are a case of pasting an address into a settings screen and logging in to Mamo. The Claude Code and Gemini CLI guides are aimed at more technical users.

The MCP server is new and we're still adding to it, so what your assistant can do will grow over time.
