In short, we don't charge any fees for spending on the Mamo Card, but standard exchange rates apply for spending in foreign currencies.
When spending on your Mamo Card, you can choose to do so in AED or non-AED currencies:
Spending in AED
We charge zero transaction fees on card purchases made in AED. The transaction is completely free for you as a business and cardholder, regardless of where you're spending. This includes purchases made in AED with a business based outside the UAE.
Spending in non-AED
When you spend in any currencies other than AED (for example, USD, EUR, GBP, etc.) we use the market rate to calculate applicable foreign exchange (FX) rates.
What about cashback?
Yes! We knew you'd ask! 😉
You'll get up to 2% cashback on your purchase every time you spend in a different currency than AED, and up to 0.5% cashback on all domestic purchases made in AED.
