Verification step: Business information

Here our goal is to collect documentation that validates everything you'd told us in the previous section. We'll store this documentation on file in case we ever need to refer back to it in the future.

Be as specific, accurate and honest as possible when filling these sections out.

Business name

This is the name of your business as you want it to appear to your end-customers when they're using Mamo to pay you.

What do you plan to use Mamo for?

Let us know which product you plan to use Mamo for.

You can always add/remove products later on. This will help us tailor the verification experience to your needs and add/remove questions as needed.

Your business website

We use this to get a better understanding of what your do, without asking you too many detailed questions during this verification process.

If you don't have a working website yet, provide your business social media account if it’s active and valid.

If you don’t have a website or social media, please provide a detailed explanation of the nature of your business and how you provide and market your services at the bottom of the page.

What does your business do?

Most applications get sent back because of insufficient information in this step.

Explain your business in as much detail as possible to help us verify your account. We recommend including the following to help us understand you better:

  • Provide examples of the products or services you sell

  • Who do you sell your products to? Who is your typical customer?

  • Where or how do you sell them?

  • How long have you been doing this?

  • How do you wish to use Mamo for your business?

How do your customers find you?

Describe the main channels through which new customers discover your business.

E.g: social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), word of mouth, Google search, online marketplaces, a physical storefront, or partnerships, etc.)

If you use more than one channel, list them all.

Revenue information

If you intend to use Mamo to collect payments, we require information about your current revenue.

How do you currently accept payment from your customers?

Describe how you collect payments today. For example: cash, bank transfer, cheque, a payment gateway (e.g. Stripe, PayTabs, Network International), POS terminal, or invoicing. You can list more than one method.

What was your business’s annual revenue last year or in the last 12 months?

Share your total business revenue, all income, not just online payments. Provide the figure in AED if possible, or state the currency if different.

Approximately what percentage of your payment volume do you plan to process through Mamo?

What share of your total payments you expect to run through Mamo. It's fine if it's not 100% for example, you might plan to use Mamo for online payments while keeping cash sales separate.

Give a rough percentage.

Approximately what percentage of your customers live in the UAE?

Give us a rough breakdown of where your customers are based. For example: "80% UAE, 10% Europe, 10% USA."

If all your customers are in the UAE, just say 100%.

On average, what is the payment amount per transaction?

Tell us the typical amount a customer pays you in a single transaction, in AED. This is not your highest or lowest, just the most common amount.

Spend information

If you intend to use Mamo for corporate spending via virtual or physical cards, we require information about your current revenue.

What types of expenses do you plan to use corporate cards for?

Describe the main categories your team spends on using corporate cards, e,g; travel and accommodation, software subscriptions, office supplies, marketing spend, or fuel.

How many people do you expect to issue cards for?

Enter the number of employees or team members who will need a Mamo corporate card. This can be an estimate.

How much do you expect to spend per month on corporate cards?

Enter your estimated total monthly spend across all corporate cards.

How much cash do you expect to withdraw from ATMs per month?

Enter the total amount your team expects to withdraw in cash from ATMs each month across all cards.

If you don't plan to use ATM withdrawals, enter 0.

How do you currently pay for expenses?

Describe how your business handles employee and operational expenses today, e.g; personal cards with reimbursement, a company credit card, bank transfers, or petty cash.
